Euro Disco in Brazil Thanks to the Germanic settlement in Santa Catarina, this state was the first to promote this genre of music in Brazil in the mid 80s.Through a record store in Joinville called "Music Shop", its owner, Valdir Polzin maintained contact with several distributors in Germany sound, importing a great variety of regional discs containing music and German Schlager Volksmusik, italo disco and euro disco.
